I’m Graeme. I’m all about games, esports, music, and really cool shit.
Like most kids growing up in the 90’s, I have a soft spot for small pixelated characters dancing around screens.
Games first entered my life through my brother’s computer, in the form of Swashbuckler and Karateka, and then through my trusty NES and Megadrive. If you’re old enough to know what any of these are, you’re probably in the right place… So as Deckard Cain once said… Stay a while and listen…
I soon found a second home in my local internet cafe where I was instantly taken with the classics that are Warcraft, Starcraft, Red Alert, Final Fantasy, Duke Nukem and Quake. A misspent childhood later and I’d become a veteran of World of Warcraft, Warcraft 3, Dota, Half Life, Diablo, Baldurs Gate and Counter-Strike. I played hard but sadly, did not go pro.
Fast forward to present day and I’ve earned my nerdy stripes, through blood, sweat, sleepless nights. There’s also only so many times that you can explain that Magic the Gathering has nothing to do with actual wizardry. If only it did…
I spend most of my gaming time on Hearthstone, Rocket League, Fortnite and PUBG, and I test most games that come out on PC and VR. My current setup is a watercooled i7-6700k CPU and GTX 1080, with a ROG 34inch ultrawide monitor.
I’m Sydney based and write a lot about the local gaming scene, as well as anything I think you should know about.
You’re already here, so you’ve done something right, but follow me and you’ll get news and reviews for games, hardware and esports that I care about. You’ll also get my musings on really cool things I think you should see and I’ll make the odd attempt at humour.
